Abstract
Dissolved oxygen is the major limiting factor in aquaculture. For experimental observations, the dynamic data of dissolved oxygen in simple system with semi-permeable membrane is obtained. The numerical analysis techniques were utilized to assess the kinetic pathway which the high-oxygen water to replenish the consumption of dissolved oxygen in the breeding areas. The results showed that the construction of mathematical model and the curve fitting techniques to explicitly provide the description of the kinetics and material physical properties. The time constant of the dissolved oxygen transfer with the modified semi-permeable membrane is shortened to 40% of the original ones. The application of the membrane with high permeability on the aquaculture is validated in quantitative and valuable by the numerical analysis.
